Deer Remains on the Walk In

This morning on the walk in to work, I saw the remains of a deer in the snow. I assume that it was eaten by some coyotes. The remains were picked rather clean, there was not much blood, and the snow covered it up rather well.

It is fascinating to see nature so up close. The remains were quite close to the path, so I’m curious to see what will happen to them as time goes on. Will they get cleaned up all at once? Will they be picked away bit-by-bit?
